I decided to have a report done 6 months after moving in, this was based on the cost initially appearing expensive. However, having had the report done I can see that it is worth every penny and only wish I’d had it done sooner. The process was extremely easy to organise and took around 3 hours on the day. My expectation was that very few issues would be found having already reported some myself to the developer. I was blown away when 71 individual issues were found. The report was thorough and includes a detailed explanation and photograph. I would highly recommend having a report done if you are thinking about it and I wouldn’t look any further than Snag-Safe. Money well spent.

Shane came on the weekend to complete our Snag. I must say, I wasn’t too sure what to expect even after the research. He made us feel at ease and explained the whole process to us and things which the developer didn’t explain. Overall he was extremely impressed with our build and found less than 50 issues. These issues are ones we didn’t notice and wouldn’t have noticed either. We will now send the report to the builder and hope they can sort. Shane was lovely every step of the way. Such an asset to the company. I really would recommend this company to anyone buying a new build, mainly for peace of mind! I know some people may say the price for 50 issues is a lot, however I’m looking at the good and really impressed with our report and the builders themself. Thank you Shane! If we buy new again, we will be back!

Best money spent, Shane uncovered 115 snags some oretty serious safety concerns and the detailed 65 report has been shared with the developer and they are being worked though…. I would of never known how to Spot most of the snags and money well spent highly recommend any new bulld purchaser to have a professional snagging cokoany and could not fault snag safe

Moved into a new build property, my second, and decided this time to leave the snagging to a professional. Booked snag safe, the chap came out and he was very pleasant and was here for around 3 hours. However, when I received the report I was incredibly disappointed that basic snagging issues that I could see with out trying, were not picked up in the report. 3 ‘major’ issues found, 2 of which I already knew about them the majority of the other 78 snags were cosmetic, which I wasn’t bothered about as I’ll be decorating. Honestly, I wish I had just spend £50 on a laser level and did it myself - defo not worth the £449. Bitter sweet, as I am glad that they didn’t find more, but annoyed that I paid good money and several basic snags were missed off.

Contacted snag safe when we found out we had a completion date for our new build. Despite this being brought forward again by 2 weeks, snag safe managed to reschedule and match around our move in date without issue!Shane who did our inspection was friendly and extremely thorough and explained some of the processes as he worked. He was very knowledgable and spent around 4-5 hours within a home checking every room and outside location for possible snags. He has provided a detailed report which we can now give to our site manager. He also gave us some good advice around how to rectify snags and reassured us that snag safe will be able to support us with any further questions we may have in the future.Price is competitive compared to similar companies and we have been left satisfied with the report and service! Would 100% recommend!

How quickly will I get my report?

You will receive your report within 5 working days after the site inspection. If you require a rush service please let us know.

When is the best time to have a snagging survey?

The best time would be 1 week before completion. Unfortunately builders can deny access until you have the keys, in this case we ask for you to book us for the day after.

Can I have a snagging inspection done after I move in?

Yes, you have 2 years after completion to report any snags to the house builder who must rectify them free of charge. Our snagging service will provide you with a visual survey so you are able to get the repairs done without fuss.

Why should I have a snagging survey?

Due to the increasing amount of houses developers are needing to build to meet their quota, short cuts can be taken to meet demand, leaving houses unsafe and with mistakes that could cost thousands down the line. Our inspections give you peace of mind, knowing that you are able to provide the house builder with evidence of works that need to be rectified and completed.
